For the time being, we only have got gigabytes of hard disk drives (HDD) and megabytes of random access memory (RAM) inside our PCs ... When, I wonder, will we have petabytes-sized HDDs and terabytes of RAM in our PCs -- that is, two orders above current technology ...?

The relatively new field of nano-technology has still to come to fruition, with marketable consumer products ... Sigh!

Hey! We still use micro-chips -- not nano-chips!

Meanwhile, unless I am mistaken, in electronics, I think we still use some tiny ceramic "disk"-shaped capacitors that can store picofarads of electric charge ...
